As CSR & Data Performance Director at Legrand France, I am convinced that data mastery is a strategic lever for performance, innovation, and responsibility for manufacturers. In a constantly changing environment—customer expectations, new regulatory requirements, environmental challenges—the quality, consistency, and accessibility of product data are key elements of transformation. I also carry this conviction as President of FAB-DIS, working closely with all stakeholders in the sector. The FAB-DIS model has established itself as the reference standard for structuring and securing product data exchanges between manufacturers and distributors in France. FAB-DIS is much more than a technical format: it is a collaborative approach that brings together diverse stakeholders around a common goal—building a shared, clear, and scalable language that serves the entire industry.
As President, I make sure to sustain this momentum, improve the model, and expand its use to new professions and needs. The launch of FAB-DIS Connect fully reflects this ambition: offering a simple, structured solution that facilitates the adoption of the standard by all players, while taking into account business practices, new data challenges, and CSR requirements.

For over a decade, FAB-DIS has brought together manufacturers, distributors, and professional organizations around a common goal: streamlining the flow of product data through a standardized format.
The contributors to the model are data, business, and technical specialists driven by a strong collaborative vision. With shared governance between IGNES (federation of construction supply manufacturers) and COEDIS (federation of construction supply distributors), we ensure an approach rooted in real-world needs while remaining attentive to regulatory developments.
