The FAB-DIS data model is an Excel file created by building supply manufacturers and distributors (hence its name). It allows manufacturers to provide all the information — commercial, logistical, media, regulatory, etc. — related to their products that distributors need to market them.

The FAB-DIS model is a common language between manufacturers and distributors, and FAB-DIS files are accepted by virtually all building supply distributors.
