Negotiated & Discounted Terms
CNR (Conditions Négociées et Remisées) refer to the discounted pricing resulting from a commercial negotiation between a manufacturer and a distributor. Unlike list prices, CNR directly incorporate negotiated discounts and serve as the actual pricing basis used in commercial transactions.
The FAB-DIS CNR template enables distributors to receive net discounted prices, manage differentiated commercial policies based on agreements, and streamline the update of information systems.
Why 2 separate files?
Separating the commercial terms specific to the manufacturer/distributor relationship (CNR file) from the Catalogue data (FAB-DIS file) ensures easier management within a structured framework.
Ease of management
This avoids having to:
- Manage as many FAB-DIS files as there are distributor clients
- Reissue or import a new FAB-DIS every time a negotiated term changes
- Risk an erroneous disclosure of sensitive and confidential data
- Clearly express your commercial terms and build your file using one or more tabs available in the CNR by FAB-DIS Templates
Framework to follow
The use of CNR by FAB-DIS Templates must respect the full autonomy of economic actors and contractual freedom.
Sending a Negotiated & Discounted Terms file does not presume acceptance by either party. Acceptance relies on the consent of both partners and on the commercial contract, which alone is legally binding.
